Recently, I am totally stressed up on Food & Nutrition~
till to the extend I will to fight for my own rights to aruge with a teacher.
what's more I can do? is this how the way you should treat student.
you never even trust your student, you keep on force us to study.
what's point? when there isnt any trusting between each other.
i need a quiet environment to study and do well.
i believe in myself i can do well, why don't you believe me? =/
i promised her that i'll get at least a B4 for F&N, hope i won't disappoint her.
although B4 is not good enough but I'll seriously try to get.
i'm totally weak in theory!!!! got to buck up then go examination hall.

RP is going to decrease their CUT OFF POINT to 24 and below for the last person in the course. It look really impossible to do it but you see believe in yourself you can do it.
I finally learnt all the hard truth rather than FACTS from terence.
poly dun use CCA points anymore as results, but last time use to.
Now they see all your subjects, I think.
I still think why I still have talk so much over it.
For SP cut off time for 2008, the maxium I see a course with 20 pts only.
20 pts for L1R2B2 [not L1R4 & L1B4 anymore] -> to get into poly as last person to go in.
see how pathetic it is, that good school like SP accpet 20 pts & below.

Life is like a journey in which time is the distance and emotions our obstacles: Finishing the journey, overcoming the bad emotions with good emotions, is more important than pondering on why are we going to the destination.

In other words, why should we think of how we look, do or EVEN WORRY what should we do in our life. Sometimes in our life, we might feel sad, angry or depressed but if we changed ourselves and live everyday happily.. won't things become brighten and more postive that we are looking forward for new thing in life. =]

short update

1st september - Happy Teacher's Day!
today went back to school for F&N extra lesson.
not everybody turn up for F&N.

sorry peeps. I'm just simply too lazy to update my blog. :)
hmm, I had changed layout of my blogskin.
I can't find any suitable blogskins for my blog so use this layout from blogger.

Friday 29th August - teacher's day celebration in school.
the whole school was in PE attire. teacher's day performance at school hall and followed by 2.4 km run outside the school tracks with teachers. most of us came back early assembly at parade ground and waited to go for recess. we are the first class to go for recess and called upon all of our subject teachers like mdm inderjit, mrs wong, mr ngien, miss chan, ms ang, mrs ang, mr nazri & mrs grill to have cut-cake session at canteen. our class was quite high! :) mdm inderjit even fed some of my classmates with cakes. isnt that sweet enough? mother's love! :D haha. after that, I and yu sheng stayed back at foyer to write some cards for teachers then the prefects will sent it to them. hmm, went up to class to collect progress report and school dismissed. I'm not totally happy with my results. I did get a slight improvement but there's still a long way to improve on it. =/ at first, i wanted to go home early but I saw ya hui calling me but I didnt notice it. It was really surprising to see her and her friends. It has been quite long time didnt met her already, so decided to stay in sch to accompany her cos she wants to walk around. after that, I & yu sheng are crazy went around taking pictures/photos with the teachers. hmm, yu sheng was tired and I went up with him to class. he sleep in class then half-way thru, i got to leave sch. 1st mate wanted to meet me to go RC with him to help him with some stuffs. after that, I went back to school again at 4 pm and have a sport games with the shooters. volleyball match, badminton. =) then, we went to lakeshore @ BBQ. mr tan kl, mr tan ws, mrs poh, mr su, coach ho were there also. thanks and kudos to all the sec 3 juniors for planning this farewell party! really appreciated a lot. we had a gathering, teachers deliever their speeches, coach ho & boss deliever their speeches and last but not least, sec 3 shooters deliever their speeches. after that before we go home, we sec 4/5 shooters gathered one last time with coach ho with his last words and everything. some of them even give their hugs to coach ho. It was so touching and nearly wanted to cry.

THANK YOU, Coach Ho for your guidance and everything for the past 2 years.
I just feel " dui bu qi" to coach ho that I didnt went for shooting training for one whole year.
I regret not training harder to get into shooting compeition.

Saturday 30th August - south-west scout campfire @ singapore poly
meet up with SW ventures at 12 plus @ rc. I was late as I got something on.
bing lun, cindy, amos, zhi hua, jason, edmond + rover kenneth was already there.
waited till skipper arrive with the store keys.
we were preparing and packing recruitment stuffs to bring over to sp campfire.
then jeremy & yin zhou came to rc in their full-u already.
after that, we brought everything and put it into the catered bus.
we boarded the bus till it reach singapore poly.
after that, we began to set up our sea scout booth. XD XD
should upload the photos taken at the booth.
our booth really look impressive and even organisers praise us. :)
the guest of honour - Dr Amy Khor.
campfire started at around 6-7 plus, i cant remember.
I and zhihua were the ones to usher Guest of Honour's Car into SP.
she was driving alone in the car. :)
south-west campfire looked boring and the campfire spirit is not there.
I still prefer catholic high campfire @ bishan, catholic high school. =)
we were all so high, they are celebrating 60th anniversitvy for their troop.
thinking back - I was impressed by their huge giant structure.
their troop has something to be proud of - their strucutre.
I saw yi jun, waiman, huda, ke yan & aston. =) didnt manage to talk to marist scouts.
hmm, while the scouts will having campfire - we eat our supper, chicken rice.
after eating, i still feel so hungry.
wait till Dr Amy Khor has left after campfire, then we take down and kept our stuffs.
samuel came to find us after his church service. :) he just came and help us.
cabbed back to rc with jeremy & cindy.
some of them trained back home, while rest of us cabbed to rc/home.
we went back to rc to put back the all the stuffs and went for night snack.
reached home almost 2AM. =/

Sunday 31st August - Raffles Marina @ Bowling.
rc event. went to play bowling and walk around raffles marina. catered bus to and back.

Do you know who is Low Kay Hwa?

Information
Low Kay Hwa is the youngest and most prolific novelist in Singapore. Between 2004 to 2007, he had written 5 novels, averaging about 2 novels a year.

Born in 1985 with a Diploma in Building and Property Management from Singapore Polytechnic, he started writing since he was very young, and sent out manuscripts to publishers at a tender age of 13. However, he was rejected by all publishers due to the financial crisis in 1997.

In 2004, he published his first book, Destiny’s Cries, which is currently out of print. In 2005, he published another novel, I Believe You, under his own established press, Goody Books. The book received good response and was sold out by 2006. In 2006, he had also written two other books, You Are Here and Journey. His fifth book, A Photogenic Life, was published in July 2007.

The younger son of a factory-operator and newspaper vendor, he has an elder brother who is an undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University.

Hey Peeps, I'm currently blogging in MLC @ school. We were doing our last round of F&N coursework Part A. Good News! It's totally unexpected O-level MT Results, I got a B4 for my chinese and oral is merit. =)) God has blessed me. Boonie Shepherd got A1 for his chinese O-level Result. So it's double happiness I should said. Alright, I am still considering whether to retake my MT or not. If retake my chinese, will it affect my other subjects or waste time. Since there is no harm trying, then I should give it a try. mrs grill & ms law don't want me to retake my chinese as it's good enough already. Next week is our English Oral already, I'm scared leh. Shannon has taken her English Oral and it's about Old Folk Home lah. haha~ sounds easy? nah. after english oral, it's our prelims - science practical & chinese & social studies.

Hey peeps, isnt it meaningful at all? I think it is. =) well, it is written by our dear venture edmond tan rong han. I think this is going to be my last post before I really go fast on my computer and go to study. I think the computer is affecting me somehow. I know what I'm doing also. Wasting time blogging and not doing useful stuffs. today is 11th August and my O-level ended exactly on 11th November. it's just three months away. I should slap myself If I still don't wake up now. I think i'm doing fine in scouts & church. Thanks to brothers in southernwaves & church peeps whom are always there for me. Appreciated a lot. You all guys cared a lot to me when I'm really down. Thanks to Boonie, Zhi Hua, Bing Lun & Yongli. =))

Well, everyone who are taking O-level GAMBATTE! tomorrow is the release of O-level MT examination results. I'm exciting, are you all guys ready for it? I think if i don't get a B3 or B4 then I'm going to retake my chinese. well, at least a B I'll be happy already. Pray hard! XD so next time if you see me online then do remind me to shut down my computer immediately. I really need the 3 month badly to prepare for O-level. Prelims start on 26th August. I'm still considering whether to attend catholic high campfire & South-West District Campfire. Maybe I'll go there just to relax myself and to de-stress myself then prepare my O-level exams. I'm still deciding whether to go up Rovering or not. It's a big challenge and I think I am not mentally and physically ready but everyone has to grow up to take on new roles & challenges.

I think for many of us here this is our last time taking our O-level cos we are old syllabus, so we must clear it and leave secondary school with good results. I guess nobody wants to waste their one year staying back and got bad grades for O-level to go ITE. Today is 11th August and my last O-level paper is on 11th November. I'll be away for 03 months after i had completed my F&N coursework part A then focus on studies. I will try to remember to stay strong, move on and defeat myself first. Sorry. I had been unfaithfully to my blog. Well, I should update now. =) Many of you may wonder what is "Project Rigel"? This is my first time attending this camp, of course i'm not participant and we are service ventures. =] Many of us in the last picture on top stayed in the campsite for our national day. I'm missed NDP live & re-boardcast on TV.

What is "Project Rigel"? What is all about?

Project Rigel is a project iniatiated by the National Rover Council at Singapore Scout Assocation. It aims to provide Rovers with the opportunity to interact with each other, have fun and do it all for a good cause. This year, we are having this camp with the extension scouts from APSN. They are mentally challenged, not retarded, just challenged. Be careful of how you address them. I dont know the politically correct term. We will call them extension scouts for now.

I seriously for the first time I enjoy this camp. It's fun, exciting & nice. Well in general, It provide me with a good experience to learn in this camp too. =) It's my first time helping out in this camp. At first, I didnt choose to go but Jeremy said they need ppl to help out in the camp so I just agree and it turn out to be wondeful. =) All our hard work and efforts had been paid off. Thank you to every service ventures whether it's southernwaves or SJI. =]

I'm really pleased with AVSL's e-mail. Here it goes:

Dear Ventures, Just to let you all know that you guys that you all had done well during Project Rigel, apart from some minor flaws,you all have displayed a high level of faith and relentlessness.I am really pleased that you all are able to complete the assigned tasks without bearing any grudges. Despite the fact that all of you were lack of sleep and feeling tired, you all managed to hold out to the very end, displaying the true spirit of the last Scout law.

Other than that, I am also very glad that Jason managed to get into the team quite well despite coming from a different unit. I hope that all of you can continue to display this positive attitude, by having this, it will definitely propel us to a brighther future...Courage in all difficulties!

isnt it a nice and enouragement e-mail? Thanks AVSL XD XD well, due to Project Rigel Pre-Camp & Actual Camp, I had missed 2 services but I still attended care-group. The previous care group was at Eugene's House, combined care-group and last week care group was at regina's house - it's HUAYI 1st Care Group. Sorry WEST D esp to Regina & Boon How. :) well, In the camp itself we all didnt sleep much. We all went in JBAC on friday night at 2000 hrs then slept at 4 AM and on Saturday night we all slept at 2 AM. The camp ended yesterday at 4 plus in the late afternoon as we had did area cleaning on the whole camp-site. It's tiring and sleepy but we still enjoy the camp. We went in/out of the campsite by lorry. It's chilly and windy sitting on the lorry. We had squeeze each other on the lorry. Luckily today is school holiday if not I'm going to be so dead. update till here. =) ciaos! enjoy the pics on top.

this post is for myself, i don't need anyone interference. =]

how many more months to 0-level? how long to prelims? Why am I still dreaming? today is 26th july. it's exactly less than 3 months from now to o-level. 29 days to prelims and it start at term 4, week one. English o-level Oral coming up & Chinese o-level results coming up soon too. As time flies, i'm really getting panicked and worried. Why am I still not working hard towards my goal. I don't even know the reason at all. Next week is mock exams, Am I even ready for it? Why am I still slacking? I felt that I'm still struck here and not moving on. I'm already far behind than others, please BUCK UP before it's too late. GUOYIN WAKE UP can? still unprepared. What's more hurting when I got my o-level results, I really cant imagine that day. I don't wish to get hurt when I got my O-level results. I want to jump for joy after I got my results and go to a suitable course in poly. Even ms ang said that " If you get an A2 for F&N, I'll treat you for a big meal." I was like stunned and is she making me happy out of suddenly. I think that our parents & teachers expectation of us to do in O-level is really high. You know that in order not to get disappointment from them is to work hard now. Just look - how many years of education I'm having now. Primary 1 - Primary 6 [6 yrs] & Secondary 1 - 5 [5 years] It's about roughly about 10 years. We are the last batch of old syllabus, if thinking of repeating next year? NO. there isnt a chance at all, how are you going to catch up with the 2 years new syllabus work with currently sec 4N students. It is either I WORK HARD now, Suffering it now & Enjoy it later rather than regretting it for life when i got my results. There isnt a choice left for me too. I can either go POLY or ITE depending on the efforts I put in for o-level.

What's the use of saying so much to myself? did it work or not? I can tell myself so much, in the end I'm the one not doing it. By proving it to myself & others and till the day came... but is it posssible within the short time preparing & mugging o-level to score good results. For the last time and for the sake of myself -> PLEASE PUT WORDS INTO ACTION. I only know how to SAY, but I self-reflect on myself did I really go and do it? The recent physics electricity test & chemistry organic chem test can already show how much I had study for it. What's more? Next week mock exam. I better be on task and show improvement to my teachers. I hope I don't say for the sake of saying, PROVE IT NOW. I really can't expect anything to drop down on the sky. It's really the efforts that counted. Last thursday, our class was having cme lessons and we did a Johari's Window. We are surpose to write our name down on a piece of green paper and pass it around to the whole class to write about our character, personality & others. What my classmates said about me which is really quite truth. I really got to accpet that those comments make sense and it's the fact.

- No Action But Words. So Irrating!
-Too Much Word than Actions.
- Think But No Act.
- Irrating, No Action, Only Words over Confidence.

As you can see the above negative comments about me. I'm really aware about it. Why other people can just shut their mouth and keep quiet to study hard. Why I'm making so much fuss and noise with WORDS rather than actions. It'll be irrating to others if i only know how to say it but didnt really go do it. In same way, others will respect you if you prove yourself wrong to them. the comments & views below is written by one of my classmate. what can I still say for myself? I'll try to make this as my source of moviation and encouragement. =] I know my classmates had already done a lot for me, I just want to let you all know I do appreciated your efforts. Thank You. It is either I buck up now or REGRET for LIFE later. STOP PROCASTING!

I guess everybody is going thru exam stress. =]
I tell myself this just to hold on till everything ends and rejoice.
This is our last stage of finally year in secondary school.
we had to do our best and have no regrets.
I can come up to sec 5 and go thru MYE & tests -> half of the battle.
next half of the battle - defeat myself rather than comparing & completing with others.
thanks to shannon for encouraging and given me advices. =]
I just felt myself really a useless person
that easily lost faith or confident before o-level start.
it's like even confident for exams is really impt,
without it whatever you do also is going to go wrong.
that's all that I'm going to say.
yesterday during special service, pastor shirley invited 2 persons up to share with us their personal life story. It's like quite touching also.
especially the 1st person - a young and intelligent lady.
after she came to know God, her life eventually changed. cos of life-transformation.
last time whenever she was with her friends, she used to put on a mask like doing things in the way for the sake of doing it without any purpose. example in order to please her friend or to make her friend happy. she really feel insecure that if she don't do that, she's going to lose her friends. it's just like pretending to be another person that showing fake feelings towards everyone. isnt it wierd? i mean why should we pretend? isnt it tiring?
why should we be doing things in the way that they wanted us to do [but we are not willing to do] to be accepted by people?
I would rather be the natural and neutral person as i went thru same thing as her.
her life experiences told me that:

- don't live for people, live for the sake of yourself.
- live your life to the fullest.
- everyone had a mind to think and a purpose to do.

Actually I had to thank wei koon for bringing me to know God & y-hope WEST D. he brought me into this church and boon how is one who is guiding me for the rest of the months. I really thank God for putting boonie into my life. XD XD still remember that day during english lessons mdm inderjit asked us "who is our role model/mentor? what values you want in life? who you want to turn out to be like? who you inspire to be? " I took boon how as my role model. you all must be wondering why? hmm. I really do honour & envy him that he can manage himself very well. he's the only guy in WD2 taking o-level, yet he has to balance up his studies & ministry together. he had spare time for fellowship caregroup as he's a CL, shepherding with his 4 sheeps and his ministry in y-hope. I think he is a easy-going person that even he got a lot of things to do yet he doesnt even complain it at all. most of all, he had leadership to lead his care group & taking initative to bond with other people. he's just like a perfect person. haha. boonie, are you touched? lol. =] it's like i feel that my life would slowly going to change as i spent my time during service, care group & shepherding with them. I had learnt to take initative to talk to others whether it's our members, visitors etc. this is the first step to build our friendship with one and another. I really can to know a lot of new people who are friendly and caring towards each other. I feel that way for the first time. =D there's a period of time that I can't bear it that I really need someone to talk to & to let out all my thoughts and problems. I can't find anybody to turn to nor talk to. it's like really pathetic. cos rather than keeping it to yourself and why not talk to someone you trust & you'll feel better. luckily there's boonie my shepherd will never leave his sheeps alone one. even though he's busy, when i called him up that night, he doesnt reject my call or saying that he's busy not free to entertain me. =] he's the one i trusted a lot whom really make a good shepherd. there's still others who is willing to great listening ear - hui chuen, yongli & regina. =] really thanks a lot to you all guys. [thumb up XD]

I think I should end here right. =] talking grandmother story here.
I don't why recently I slept very early at 8 pm and waking up at this hour to find myself cannot get to sleep. haha.
perharps we'll patch up or won't patch up, it's all fate bah.
I just wish that we are good friend that we used to be, miss the old good times together.

hmmm. yesterday mcg was FUN at JP new park. XD XD I had brought three visitors for WEST D, they are zhi hua [regular visitor], kiat seng & qi hao. We had lots of fun yesterday playing games. Firstly, we are grouped into 4 groups. I was with kiat seng, hui quan & stanley. We are surpose to do up a BEAR shirt & design it wihout communication and wrote down on a piece of paper if we wants to talk. After that we are given 10 mins to go around JP, asking ppl to take photo with stanley wearing the shirt. Of course some rejected taking photo with him but we took 30+ photos with strangers. =D
If the stranger wore the shirt and take photo with stanley then we got extra point. haha. =]
After that, we went on to the next game which is to design a pandan cake using peanut butter + snacks and then all of us are to judge whose cake is nicer. Without further a do, Regina asked us to take the 3 pandan cakes smacked it on David's face. That was so cool!

Then, we slacked around and went home with qi hao & kiat seng. I hope you all guys had enjoyed yourself and come again for the next mcg. =]

hey peeps. these are photos shot taken yesterday.

yesterday have study group with WEST D.

huai qian, crystal, si hui, david, yee tat & agnes were already there.

reached JP mac at 3.30 pm and waited for yongli to turn up.

we were very noisy when studying.

then crystal and david were angry with us. haha.

study from 3 plus all the way till 5 plus.

then yee tat, yongli, agnes and me went to JP new park.

we even opened Rihanna songs together to hear and sing. XD XD

the people tot that we all crazy or siao liao.

after that, find a spot to sit down and have fun. =)

today was raining quite heavily from morning till after-school.

during PE, mr max lim asked us to run up stairs for running.

social studies lessons last 2 period were being eaten up by assembly.

I was really touched by boonie's post "what love means to age 4 to 8 years old"
the moment you touched my life, i had already changed.
important ppl in my life. last time had been wanted to blog this but somehow forgotten.
the true love with people in our life in terms of friendship.
my shepherd, my church peeps, my scout peeps. they made up part of my life.
bing lun & zhi hua went thru together as a scout since sec 1.
they had been with me for quite long and really appreciated their presence.
they are my BROTHERS of the scout. seriously speaking.
I love them loads too. XD XD it's like after so long then i realise.
I know terence since sec 2 when we become prefects, love him as my BEST friend.
Hafiz and Yu Sheng is another two important person in my life.
Both of them are my good friends in class. =))
Hafiz has been always there to help me in my studies.
Yu Sheng had been the one who will be always there for me when i'm down.
these people are really great and hold significant in my life.
I want to thank the three of them especially terence. =)
he has been always there for me when i'm down and never fail to cheer me up.

I want to know God, because why? I believe in life-transformation.
that I serve him, my life can be changed after that. =)
serving God got a lot of ways, I want to seek God for help. he's our savior. =D
I want to get rooted in God. =)

they did this why? because they really cared for me as friends.
they are harsh and making all stupid comments, COS THEY CARE.

i know I had been disppointing them a lot and a lot.

okay to say it simple and short.
i'm now in MLC to do my coursework part b.
i dun haf much time to blog also.

Yuhua Secondary School

Wang Guoyin was a student of Yuhua Secondary School from 2004-2008 where he pursued a course in the Normal Academic Stream.

Personal Attributes
Guoyin was a polite and well mannered pupil in class. He was reliable and willing to accpet responsibilities as a Senior Prefect and member of the Shooting Club.

He was a disciplined and committed crew of Southernwaves Sea Scout Group. He displayed keen interest in Scouting and participated actively in many related community events, for example the Dumpling Festival organised by Nanyang Community Centre that tried to enter a world records for making the largest dumpling.

He was cheerful and helpful pupil in the class. Due to his friendly nature, peeps loved to share ideas and opinions freely with him. He possessed determination to strive for excellence in his academic results.

Interpersonal Qualities
He showed understanding and consideration towards others. He was helpful to his teachers and displayed genuine concern for the welfare of his peeps. He was readily accpeted by his peers and teachers for his helpful ways.

Achievements and Contributions
His involvement in the Southernwaves Sea Scouts as Yeoman, Secretary of the Venture EXCO, had placed him in various competition which increased his competitive spirit to excel. He had achieved a 1 star-kayaking personal proficiency skill and basic windsurfing proficiency through his organisation.

He also participated in the JOTI/JOTA 2006, whereby he communicated with oversea Scouts through radio and internet. The most significant achievement for Guoyin was his involvement in the APR peace baton 2007. It was an Asia Pacific Region event where the baton was passed from countries to countries in the APR to promote peace.

He, together with his classmates, showed social responsibility and community spirit by participating in student initiated visits to homes and recycling projects that were organised as part of the school's community service programme after school.

With a positive attitude, he will definitely go far in his future endavours and make a significant contribution to the society.

I had deleted my blog and created a brand new one.

cos my sch peeps don't even know abt this blog and I dun intend to tell them.

service cum celebration! :D

as usual, meet up with a group of west D peeps at boonlay control.
I was late and reach there about 1040.
we all had to do street eva and go around asking ppl to help us do survey.
I'm with yee tat together doing street eva.
after that, trained down together with si hui, jarren, huai qian, crystal, david, huichuen, yee tat and agnes for our service @ cuppage plaza.
during the train ride, we were fellowshipping. turned out to be super funny.
I was making fun out of myself then sihui and the rest were laughing.
just nice when we reach cuppage plaza and off we go for service! :D
after i went in, suddenly i saw a familar face coming up to me.
guess who? it's WAIMAN, my beloved sister.
she didnt came for service like quite long time ago. haha.
i was so totally shocked and surpised by her. I didnt know she will come too. =D
during the praise & worship, I really feel the presence of god.
I shed my tears again and feelings is always natural and calm.
this is already the second time. teaching by pastor/brother michael(:
the teaching is on " how to be a star. " philippians 2:12-16
I had learnt something depend on God's power to transform our life.

after service, we all went down to meridian for lunch.
as I was broke already, so I didnt intend to eat lunch.
then boonie & yee tat kept persuading me to go buy lunch.
but i refuse, telling them i'm still sick so no appetite to eat.
at first, they wanted to drag me to go buy lunch but didnt. :)
thanks boonie for your concern. i'm fine! :D
after that, yongli asked me to accompany him to go toilet.
so i go with him as he had stomachache.
then when I leave the toilet alone, i saw yee tat walking toward me.
he pulled me back to the toilet and i went into the mug tong's room.
locked the door for a while then opened it and ran off.
yee tat saw it and quickly hold me back.
I know something's wrong. when going down on the escalator,
he covered my eyes.
then we walked all the way down and i was surpised and shocked! :D
they sang happy birthday song for me in english & chinese version.
I blowed the candle then make wishes. they wanted me to tell everybody one of my wish.
so my wish was: " to let WEST D to grow glory to glory! "
I'm feeling so touch and nearly cry. XDXD
thank you, WEST D! love you all guys loads.
after that, the rest of them had west havester.
so de quan, yongli, yee tat, me and another two (dont'know hw to spell their name)
went down to plaza singpura to walk around.
as yongli wanted to go comic connection and we all accompany him to go.
after that, we all trained home together.
alighted at lakeside and walked home with yee tat & yongli.
